Recently, some of our readers came across an error message on how to fix echo on PC microphone. Unfortunately I have no idea how to go about making a cable like that. A separate cable that uses the mic's 3-pin jack as a mount for another 3-pin jack whose wires can run down the cable separately to the headphones'. The only way I've found to remove the echo is to plug the mic directly into my extension cable (plugging in the headset without the mic connected or with the mic muted makes no difference), but then I don't have anywhere to put it. That's why I now have a HyperX Cloud Alpha, and it makes that extension cable completely pointless because now there's only one ground in the headset's 4-pin connector. for about 6 months, and then my headset's mic broke, so I had to look for a new one. Aside from having a bit more noise, it worked perfectly. I listened to him and bought an extension cable so I could plug the mic into the back panel. The front panel connectors both share ground so the mic was being corrected both for the interference it received and the interference between the headphones, so instead of interference being removed, it was being inverted. He suggested that it wasn't the headset's fault, and that it was probably because I had them both plugged into the front panel of my PC. When I had my old Sennheiser headset, I complained to someone about its mic echo. ![]()
